Dublin to Edinburgh

Well I've moved into to my new hostel in Edinburgh. Tis an interesting little place. The journey was interesting. I took the Enterprise service from Dublin to Belfast. Where I was to transfer to the ferry; however I was surprised to find that I had a total or 3 hours layover in Belfast (2 of which ended up being @ the the ferry terminal, due to the bus schedule.) The Ferry ride its self was uneventful I got working on my computer and the time flew by. I then took a 2 car local train into Glasgow. The train stopped at just about every signal box and crossing. I did end up having the advantage of seeing an old signal box being used (with the big levers, etc.) In Glasgow we arrived late and I missed my connection; however I was able to walk a few blocks to the other station and catch the next train to Edinburgh. Arrival in Edinburgh was nice. On board the train I dug thru my guide books and found a cheap hostel near the station, although finding it was a bit harder since I exited the Station on the wrong side (lets just say my Scottish geography isn't the greatest :D ) I did get a very nice surprise however, upon exiting the station I turned around and saw the Edinburgh castle all lit up in the night & rain.
